All services below are performed by our fully employed, on-site Cyber Wurx staff — never outsourced. Standard billable rate is $125/hr, billed per minute with a 15-minute minimum, unless otherwise noted.
Remote Hands
$125/hr — billed per minute, 15-minute minimumA Cyber Wurx technician physically interacts with your equipment — from routine tasks like reboots and cable checks to more involved work such as configuring gear per your spec sheet, running cable, and coordinating vendors on-site. All work is performed per your written or verbal instructions.
- Server power cycle and hard reboot
- LED and indicator status checks
- Cable inspection, reseating, and management
- Hardware swaps (drives, RAM, NICs) per customer spec
- Cross-connect and patch panel cable runs
- Network gear configuration per provided spec sheet
- Firmware updates and BIOS configuration (customer-specified)
- Moving or repositioning equipment within your cabinet
- Escorting and coordinating third-party vendors on-site
- Full cage and suite build-outs — quoted per project
KVM & Console Access
First 1 hour/month included — additional hours billedOut-of-band access to your server’s keyboard, video, and mouse — useful when your server is unreachable over the network or requires OS-level interaction you can’t perform remotely.

- Serial console connection for headless servers
- BIOS / UEFI access for boot-level troubleshooting
- OS installation and recovery support (customer-supplied media)
- On-demand — open a support ticket to request access
- Monthly KVM rental available for persistent access
Equipment Installation
Billed per hour — contact for ratesOur staff receives, unboxes, and racks your equipment in your cabinet. Before shipping hardware, open a support ticket so we can schedule receiving and coordinate installation.
- Receiving and inspection of incoming shipments
- Unboxing and staging
- Rack mounting for 1U, 2U, and chassis equipment
- Equipment secured using standard 10-32 rack nuts and bolts
- Power cabling to your cabinet PDU
- Network cable runs within your cabinet
- Labeling and basic documentation

Customer Equipment Storage
Billed monthly — by the item or by the shelfSecure, climate-controlled storage for spare parts, components, and equipment you’re not actively running, kept separate from the data center floor. Your cabinet and cage are for equipment that is installed and in use — not for staging idle hardware, boxes, or packing material.

Linux System Administration
Per-minute billing — or monthly managed add-onOur staff can handle Linux OS troubleshooting and system administration on-demand at our standard billable rate, or we can take ongoing responsibility for your servers’ administration as a monthly add-on service.
