Q. Do you have a minimum commitment or contract?
A. All shared hosting packages, dedicated servers and co-location accounts are based on a month to month term commitment unless other arrangements have been made. Exceptions to the rule are special pricing plans where term commitments may be required.

Q. Do you offer a 30 day money back guarantee?
A. Our service includes a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with our service within the first 30 days, you will be given a full refund.

In the event that you exercise your right to a 30 day money back guarantee, a set-up fee of $60 for dedicated servers, including managed and unmanaged, will be retroactively charged if the setup fee was waived in the original charge. Setup fees may be refundable if the account is canceled PRIOR to activating the account.

Domain name registrations are nonrefundable.
Account add-ons are nonrefundable
Bandwidth overages are nonrefundable
Miscellaneous billable support is nonrefundable
Control Panel software such as C-Panel is nonrefundable

Windows Software is non-refundable

If your account has been cancelled due to a breach of our Terms of Service or AUP, you will not be eligible for a refund.


Q. How quickly can I expect my account to be setup?
A. New accounts are generally setup within 24 hours as long as payment has been made in full.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal (handling fees apply), International Wire transfers (fees apply), and Company Check or Money Order.

Q. Is your credit card payment form secure?
A. Yes, all credit card transactions are done in a secure environment.

Q. Do you accept International accounts?
A. Yes, however payments are required in US dollars

Q. Is the cost per package a yearly or monthly fee?
A. All pricing is based on a monthly fee unless stated otherwise

A. No, we require payment to be made in us dollars

Q. Do you charge set-up fees?
A. Setup fees are free of charge unless otherwise stated. However, in the event that you exercise your right to a 30 day money back guarantee, a set-up fee of $60 for dedicated servers, including managed and unmanaged, will be retroactively charged if it was waived in the original charge.


Hardware network questions
Q. What OS do you use on your severs?

A. Our servers run on the latest version of Debian Linux on managed and shared hosting accounts. Your choice of OS on unmanaged servers.

Q. What is your network connectivity?

A. We maintain GigE Connectivity to multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 providers including: BTN (Beyond the Network), WV Fiber, and Level 3.


Q. Do you monitor your servers?
A. Yes, all of our equipment is monitored by trained on site technicians 24x7x365. The equipment is also monitored via 2 other locations to notify us of any Internet congestion to allow us to make routing changes if there are any types of Internet outages.

Q. Do you have weekly backups?
A. Yes, we run weekly backups of mission critical files such as password files,data base and system files, however this does not include website backups. If you are interested in website backups, please see the add-on section for more information.

Web Hosting Questions
Q. What is the difference between shared hosting and dedicated hosting?
A. Shared or virtual servers host multiple users/websites while a dedicated server hosts only your websites.

Q. Do you host adult sites?

A. Yes, as long as the website is in compliance with 18 U.S.C. 2257 or any other U.S. law.

Q. Do you host Warez or IRC bots or clients?
A. No, Warez and IRC are against our TOS

Q. Can I send bulk e-mail?

A. No, bulk e-mailing is against our acceptable use policy.

Q. Do you submit my sites to search engines or do I need to do that myself?

A. We leave search engine submission up to you.

Q. Do you offer "unlimited bandwidth"?

A. There really is no such thing as "unlimited bandwidth" While some companies can be deceiving, claiming to give you unlimited bandwidth we state upfront how much bandwidth you are allotted in your plan. We do offer unrestricted bandwidth which allows your website the ability to exceed the amount of bandwidth in any given hosting plan for an additional fee.

Q. How much are your bandwidth overage charges for your per gig hosting accounts?
A. Anything used over your allotted monthly bandwidth is charged at a flat per gig rate of $1 per gig

Q. How much are your bandwidth overage charges for your per megabit hosting accounts?
A.
Bandwidth is measured via MRTG 95th percentile. Overages over monthly bandwidth allotment will be charged at $150 per megabit.

Q. Do you offer Telnet or SSH?
A. We do not offer Telnet, however we do offer SSH on dedicated servers and limited SSH on shared servers.

Q. Which web authoring software can I use?
A. You can use any authoring software that is capable of publishing websites via the FTP protocol. Most products support this feature. At this time we do not support Frontpage extensions.

Q. Will you place ads on my webpage?
A. Absolutely not.

Q. Do you offer domain registration?
A. Yes we do.

Q. If I have hosting somewhere else can I still use you for other services?
A. Yes we currently offer monitoring, system administration, e-mail and backup solutions and domain registration.

Q. Do you have 24x7x365 support?

Q. Do you offer support for 3rd party software or services?

A. No, you will need to contact the company where the software or service was purchased.

Q. How long have you been around?
A. We have been in the web hosting industry since 1997. Cyber Wurx LLC is a privately owned, profitable, and debt-free Web hosting company.

Q. Is it possible to view websites that you currently host?

A. Sure, just let us know and we can provide you a list.

Q. Where are you located?

A. We own and operate our own data center in downtown, Atlanta GA.

Dedicated server questions

Q. What is the difference between a managed and an unmanaged dedicated server?
A. A managed dedicated server is the perfect solution for the client that prefers to focus on their business, instead of their web server. With a Cyber Wurx managed dedicated server, our experienced technicians provide the knowledge and expertise of maintaining your web server. Some of the features include: security updates, server patches, software updates, server health monitoring, 30 minutes administrative service and general server maintenance.
The following is not covered in our managed support: Any third party software consultation or work requested for third party scripts or software will be billable at $60 per hour with a minimum of 15 minutes.

An un-managed dedicated server offers the same basic features as a managed server at a reduced rate. With an un-managed server we provide storage, reboots, physical security of the hardware, failed hardware replacement and bandwidth, however additional consulting or support will incur extra charges.
We will however, support anything hardware or network related. The following is not covered in our support: Any third party software including but not limited to: Control Panel Support, billing software, Scripts etc. Consultation or work requested for third party scripts or software will be billable at $60 per hour with a minimum of 15 minutes.


Q. Do you offer support on an unmanaged server?

Q. What are your set-up fees for a dedicated server?

Q. What if I need extra support or consultation for my unmanaged server, can you help?

Q. I notice that each managed support option comes with an allotted amount of administrative services. What kind of work can I submit using this service?
A. You can use your administrative service hours for general work such as domain additions and removals, routine mail maintenance, mySQL databases, crontabs, general inquiries,basic security, general consulting and troubleshooting. Administrative service does not include, 3rd party program/script installs, or extensive 3rd party script/program troubleshooting.

Q. What happens if I have a managed service package but exceed my allotted hourly support package?
A. If you exceed your allotted time in any given month, additional support will be charged at $60 per hour.

Q. Can I carry my administrative service hours over to the next month if I do not use them all in one month?
A. No, the monthly allotment does not carry over to the next month.



Q. What is a reseller account?
A. As a Reseller you have the ability to run you own hosting company, under your own company name.

Q. What tools will you provide me to run my own hosting company?
A. Each shared reseller account comes standard with C-Panel/WHM (Web Hosting Manager) allowing you the ability to manage your hosting clients and set your own prices. If you choose a dedicated reseller package you will be responsible for you own hosting management software.

Q. How quickly can I expect my account to be setup?
A. New accounts are setup within 24 hours as long as payment has been made in full.

Q. Do you bill my customers?
A. No, you will be responsible for billing your own customers.

Q. Do you provide tech support to my customer?
A. No, you will be responsible for your own technical support, including domain registrations, however we will provide technical support to you directly based at an hourly rate of $60 per hour.

Q. Can I register my customers domains though your domain service?
A. Yes. As a reseller you will also be eligible for domain discounts. Contact sales for discounted domain information.

Q. Will I be charged for adding extra domains?
A. No, you have the ability to add unlimited domains to your reseller hosting account.

Q. Is the cost per package a yearly or monthly fee?
A. All pricing is based on a monthly fee unless stated otherwise


Q. Do I need my own server?
A. That is up to you. If you are just starting out you may wish to start out under a shared reseller account allowing you time for your business to grow.

Q. Can you provide me with a dedicated server when I am ready?
A. Absolutely! You can upgrade your account through the customer control panel or contact sales@cyberwurx.com.

Q. Can I upgrade my reseller account free of charge?
A. Yes, you can upgrade at any time via the customer support panel located here

Q. If I choose to purchase a dedicated reseller package, where can I purchase hosting management software?
A. We can sell you C-Panel/WHM for an additional charge or provide information on additional hosting management software options.
